I would say that "seeing" can only be something peaceful. When a child is able to focus for the first time, something peaceful occurs. "Speaking" is the same. On the other hand, "saying" is different. I would sooner compare "looking" to "saying" and "seeing" to "speaking" (or "singing"). And desire is there. It is peaceful and sometimes difficult, suffering like the mountain climber who climbs, or the diver, or the lover who goes. I would say that this is "right". And that in this "right" there is a notion of duty, like a separation between two parts of an iceberg. There is a necessity to "say" (in curing a sick person), a necessity to "look" (in healing), and both are extremely painful. I am the son of a doctor, yet I have a hard time going to the doctor, because at that moment, you must "say" or "look" and you must confront this to "seeing" or "speaking".
